Settling In To Vancouver & UBC

I took two months off of science after finishing up work at Eawag, and spent the time mostly hiking and running in different parts of the Alps, as well as having a few adventures and catching up with friends and family in northern New England. In September, I started a Killam Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of British Columbia, in Rachel Germain’s lab in the Department of Zoology and the Biodiversity Research Center. I’m already thrilled by the atmosphere here, my great colleagues, and all the amazing science that is going on. I’m still a little burnt out post-PhD but this is a really invigorating place to be working!
